David Boyum co-founded Landseer in 2005. He has worked as a consultant to major corporations, leading law firms, government agencies, and private investors. He has taught economics and statistics at Harvard and was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholar in Health Policy Research at Yale. He is the co-author of two books: What the Numbers Say: A Field Guide to Mastering Our Numerical World and An Analytic Assessment of U.S. Drug Policy. David holds an A.B. in applied mathematics from Harvard and a Ph.D. in public policy from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Dana Craver joined Landseer in 2013. She was previously a Director at Reservoir Capital Group, a generalist investment firm that invests opportunistically, across the capital structure and across geographies, in public and private markets. Reservoir invests directly, as well as through partnership. Prior to Reservoir, Dana was a Principal at Princeton University’s endowment investment office (PRINCO), where she held day-to-day responsibility for the endowment’s domestic equity, independent return (hedge fund) and fixed income portfolios. Before PRINCO, Dana was a member of the Investment Banking Division at Salomon Smith Barney / Citigroup, where she covered financial sponsors, as well as consumer and homebuilding companies.  Dana began her career as an automotive equity research analyst at JP Morgan. She has a BS in Finance from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Scott Ameen joined Landseer in 2018. He was previously Director of Research for Magnetar’s Fundamental Strategies Fund, a multi-strategy fund that he helped launch in 2015. Prior to that, he was a Partner and Assistant Portfolio Manager at Owl Creek Asset Management, a generalist firm that invested across the capital structure in both public and private markets. Before that, Scott was an Associate at Citi focused on investments in distressed and high yield companies. He began his career in the Investment Banking Division at Citi.  Scott earned a Bachelors of Commerce from the McIntire School at the University of Virginia.

Alan Feder joined Landseer in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer. He was previously Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Kane Street Capital, a New York hedge fund firm that managed long-short and long-only equity funds. He has also worked as Controller of ZS Fund, a private equity firm that invests in middle market companies. Prior to Kane Street and ZS, Alan was a Senior Associate at KPMG, where his responsibilities included preparing audited financial statements for hedge funds and private equity funds. Alan is a CPA and has a B.S. in accounting from Yeshiva University.
